About Jeff Mills, the author
Beyond the classroom, Jeff Mills is also a published author, entrepreneur, and public servant. He's known for weaving history, policy, and lived experience into his writing, using fiction to challenge systems and spark conversations about justice, power, and purpose. In his own words, “My story is as smooth as a dirt road.” After losing his wife, father, and mother in close succession, he turned to writing to process it all, and has since published more than 60 books spanning business, fiction, and memoir.
